Programs & Initiatives
To volunteer for any of the below programs, please find additional details and sign up forms at this website: https://www.hartoforangevalefairoaks.org/

Mid-Week Meals
Volunteers provide a lunch and supplies each week in Fair Oaks. The weekly Wednesday lunch program is located in the Fair Oaks Library parking lot. The lunch program is also supported by the Foodbank and through non-perishable food donations.

We now have community health workers, formerly known as outreach navigators, at every lunch program to provide additional resources.

Freshen Up Weekly Showers
The Thursday Shower Program in Orangevale is a collaboration with Last Ministry (portable shower trailer), Pathway Fellowship (our location), the Orangevale Women's Club (shower supplies) and the Orangevale Fair Oaks Foodbank for food. Please join us in offering this great service. Unhoused neighbors who come get a shower will say they feel completely different afterwards

Youth Outreach Programs
We partner with the SJUSD's McKinney- Vento program to provide resources and school supplies to school age children in our local areas. Each year we hold a backpack drive to gather supplies for these kids living in some type of housing transition. Read about their response.
We have also started a new partnership with the YMCA so teens living unhoused can come the the Y, learn to swim, do their homework or play some pickleball.
