Founded in 2018, North Sacramento HART's mission is to provide resources that will enable at risk people and people experiencing homelessness in North Sacramento and adjacent areas to become independent, self- sustaining and participating members of the community.

North Sacramento HART - Programs & Initiatives

North Sac Respite Center

North Sac HART has partnered with Mount Calvary Baptist Church to open a Respite Center every Wednesday for unhoused neighbors and community members. Guests are able to relax indoors, receive hospitality, a breakfast, bagged lunch, essential supplies, clothing and access to bathrooms.

Date & Time: Every Wednesday, 9am - 12pm​

Location: 3407 Altos Ave, Sacramento (next to the Northern Bike Trail at the corner of Altos & Ford Road)

Youth Outreach

North Sacramento HART participates in the Ready for Robla resource fair for unstably housed students and their families. They collect sock donations and pass them out at the event just before the start of the new school year.

Donate

All donations are tax deductible and go support the purchase of food, hygiene items and other survival necessities for the respite center.
