On Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 Judi Alexander will be receiving the Hero of Human Services Award from the County of Sacramento for the work she does for HART of Folsom's Winter Shelter. Judi is HART of Folsom's Winter Shelter Coordinator and has been an activist for the homeless since 2016. She also volunteers for the CAPS program at the Folsom Police and Fire Departments and at Harris Center for the Arts. Judi was nominated by Winter Shelter volunteer and former neighbor Kirk Weir.
This award is reflective not only of Judi's dedication and passion, but the Winter Shelter program as a whole and what we can do as community when we come together. It would be wonderful to have HART members in the audience when she receives this award at the Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday, November 5th at the Board of Supervisor Chambers (700 H Street, Sacramento, CA 95814) at 9:30 AM. Please arrive at 9:20 AM so everyone can be seated and the meeting started promptly. The best place to park is the garage on G Street just before 7th Street.
