North Sacramento HART participated in Robla School District's annual "Ready for Robla" on August 14th. Approximately eighty-nine percent (89%) of students enrolled in Robla School District live in poverty; there are countless children students who experience homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. The event was a success as hundreds of students along with their families turned out to receive much needed resources and necessities including: school supplies, books, hair cuts, medical & dental info, groceries and food items, clothing, legal & tenant services, among many, many others. North Sac HART distributed grocery store gift cards to 90 families in need as well as socks, clothing (including tutus), hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, and other food items.
