Midtown HART is launching their first project - a daytime, drop-in Respite Center - September 6th! This weekly center will be open every Friday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral (2620 Capitol Ave, Sacramento, CA 95816).
The Respite Center will be a place to cool off, get water and a snack, charge their phones, and will feature one service provider to connect people experiencing homelessness to relief and programs.
We are looking for volunteers to help staff this center, as well as donations of small, self-contained snacks (such as granola bars) and refillable water bottles.
